Album Deserts Egipte

Tancar els ulls i no escoltar res, sols el vent, obrir-los i veure que el cel és blau i no gris i a més amb sensació d’immensitat on el cel i la terra s´ajunten a l’horitzó. Respirar profundament i no menjar-te tots els fums densos de contaminació de cotxes i camions, poder caminar i fins i tot correr lliurement amunt i avall, sentint-nos lliures i sense la sensació que algún vehicle ens passa per sobre a cada passa. Així és com hem pogut viure el desert Libi a egipte.

Hem anat passant d’oasis en oasis, començant pel de Bahariya, on vam veure el desert negre. Vem continuar i dormir al desert blanc, on ens vam meravellar amb les seves curioses formes, continuant per l’oasis de Farafra i Abu Minkar, on van fer un segon dia d’acampada, on els nodles i el te calent sense sucre, senta genial, amb les baixes temperaturas de la nit al desert. Els últims oasis van ser els de Darkha on les seves “hot springs” les podriem anomenar  “hell springs” on l’aigua literalment cremava, però amb uns paissatges fantastics, i per últim el de Kharga, que és el més fred i proper a la “civilització”, tot i que la carretera desde allà fins a Luxor son prop de 300km de pur desert.

 Close your eyes and hear no sound except the wind. Open them and see that the sky is blue and not grey, conveying a sensation of immensity where sky and earth meet on the horizon. Take a deep breath without breathing in all the dense smoke or pollution from cars and trucks. Walk, even run freely up and down. Feel free. Forget about the passing of cars. This is what we experienced in the Libyan Desert in Egypt.

We have moved on from one oasis to another, starting in Bahariya where we saw the black desert. We continued on and slept in the white desert, where we were amazed by its strange forms, then went on to  the  Farafra Oasis and Abu Minkar where we had our second day of camping and where the noodles and hot tea without sugar felt great in the low temperatures of the desert night. Then came the Darkha Oasis where we called the hot springs "hell springs" because the water literally burned, with its fantastic landscapes. And last of all the kharga Oasis, a bit colder and more “civilised”, although even from there to Luxor is nearly 300km of pure desert road.
